Event Summary

Join us for the Will2Walk Cornhole Tournament and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Awareness Event! Designed for all ages and abilities, the event features official American Cornhole League tournament play as well as rock climbing, long toss, giant jenga, giant checkers, face painting, food for purchase and vendor tables. Sponsorship options are available and all proceeds will support programs for those living with spinal cord injuries to stay active, fit and independent.

The tournament offers TWO divisions for different abilities:

  • Social (Bring Your Own Partner)
  • Experienced (Blind Draw)

DON’T HAVE A PARTNER? No worries…sign up as a free agent and we will randomly assign you a partner at the event. Simply indicate in the Comment section of the registration form that you are signing up as a single player.

Various levels of sponsorship are available – see below for more information!

Brent Carman, Treasurer 
"I'm very excited to become a part of the Will2Walk team. Ever since meeting Rich and learning how impactful the Foundation is, I have wanted to help support this great cause. I'm proud to contribute in any capacity needed!" ~Brent Carman

Brent joins the Will2Walk Board of Directors in 2016 as Treasurer.  He is currently a Wealth Advisor with Raymond James in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Prior to joining Raymond James as a Wealth Advisor, Brent worked for Wells Fargo’s Wealth Management Group as well as JP Morgan Chase's Investment Services as a financial consultant/advisor for a total of 7 years. Brent started his career in the securities industry with Morgan Stanley'€™s Private Client Group, offering portfolio management to high-net worth individuals and business owners in Scottsdale Arizona.  Prior to his financial services career Brent served Honorably in the United States Air Force for 4 years as an Aerospace Equipment Engineer and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Global Business Management.

Brent enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing golf, basketball and cheering for his hometown Nebraska Huskers.

Jennifer Chaillie, Vice President
"I feel honored to be a part of the Board of Directors and join such an amazing group of people. I am dedicated to helping and supporting those who have been impacted by an SCI, and showing them they are still able to live a good life."~Jen Chaillie

Jennifer Chaillie sustained a spinal cord injury in a diving accident in 2011. As a former marathon runner, she is dedicated to staying physically active and now enjoys hand-cycling, swimming, weight lifting, and kayaking. She thrives on trying new things such as repelling, hang gliding, race car driving, skydiving and other fun adventures. Jennifer’s motto is “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.

Jennifer has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University, and has a passion for helping others and making sure no one gets left behind. She has worked in the behavioral health field for ten years, and is currently a therapist specializing in treating children who had been victims of abuse. A native of Arizona, Jennifer resides in Tempe.

Rich Hamill, Founder and President
"I know that we can empower those with SCIs to regain control of their lives and prepare for the cure through education and perseverance." ~Rich Hamill

Rich Hamill was injured in an automobile accident at age 18. Throughout his journey of living with a spinal cord injury (SCI), Rich has been steadfast in his belief that a positive attitude and healthy body are of utmost importance for people with SCIs. He founded Will2Walk in 2008 in order to make his dream of inspiring others with spinal cord injuries a reality. Today, Rich is a Senior Claim Adjuster for Nationwide Insurance Company. He and his wife, Alesha, have twin girls, Kennedy and Sydney.
