Event Summary
This program provides an opportunity for beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers to enjoy the freedom and thrill of the downhill sport. It is supported by Northern Arizona Adaptive Sports Association, a new, Flagstaff local, 501(c)(3) charitable organization and sponsored AZ Disabled Sports.
Due to the increased popularity of the program and limited resources/funding, a 14-day prior reservation policy is enforced. This gives them enough time to schedule a certified adaptive instructor and assign a well trained volunteer to your lesson.
They offer half day and full day lesson and charge only what the lesson costs to provide. The half day lesson is $89 and the full day lesson is $159. Equipment and full-day lift ticket are included in this price.
The half-day lesson starts at 10am and goes until noon. The full-day lesson goes from 10-12, breaks for lunch from 12-1 and then continues from 1-3. Both will include a 9:30am assessment to setup equipment that might be needed for the lesson.
