Phoenix, AZ – (March 30, 2015) Will2Walk Foundation is one of the nearly 1,000 nonprofit organizations expected to participate in Arizona Gives Day, an online fundraising initiative, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Presented by FirstBank, Arizona Gives Day will bring together Arizonans from across the state to raise awareness and financial support for a variety of nonprofit organizations. Arizonans are encouraged to help make a difference by investing in the nonprofit of their choice.
“AZ Gives Day is an amazing way for people to support the nonprofits in their community. We are growing and continue to advance in our ability to help individuals with SCI right here in Arizona and beyond. We are looking forward to participating this year and seeing great results,” said Amy Munoz, Executive Director.
“The inaugural event in 2013 was a big success and proved the commitment Arizonans have in supporting our nonprofits throughout the state. We are excited to for the 2015 Arizona Gives Day and to further showcase the important work our nonprofits are doing in our communities,” said Patrick McWhortor, president and CEO of the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits.
From midnight on April 7 and continuing until 11:59 p.m., supporters of Will2Walk can go online to www.Azgives.org and select Will2Walk to receive your charitable contribution. All online donations during this day will go directly to help people with SCI to live active, fit and independent lives.
