Will2Walk would like to thank every donor who supported our fundraising campaign in September in honor of National Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Awareness Month. We are extremely proud to announce that the campaign raised a total of $3,500 due to a double-matching promotion!
Every dollar raised during the campaign went directly to funding our new Life Enhancement Grant Program, which awards grants to individuals with SCIs needing financial assistance for equipment and services that improve their general quality of life and provide opportunity for physical fitness.
“This year, we were able to assist some amazing people in the SCI community by helping them purchase a variety of equipment, such as a wheelchair, handcycle, and professional rugby chair,” noted Dawn Tilford, Director of Grants. “Due to your generous support of this fundraising campaign, we hope to broaden our reach and lend a hand to more individuals with SCIs.”
