A perfect Michigan day set the stage for the Third Annual Will2Walk Golf Scramble on July 28. Eighty-degree weather and a light breeze greeted more than 150 golfers as they competed over fun hole challenges, enjoyed a light lunch, and came together to support a great cause. The tournament far exceeded previous year participants, sponsors, and total money raised, bringing in over $18,000 for the Foundation.
“It is so rewarding to come home every year and be able to share this event with all my close friends and supporters,”
shared President Rich Hamill. “To catch up with football players I used to coach, and even a few of my elementary and high school teachers, was just awesome. I am so grateful for the community support.”
Will2Walk plans to continue with the annual Golf Scramble in Michigan, and is researching other possible events in the Great Lakes State.
