Staying fit when you’re in a wheelchair is not an easy thing to do, but it is doable. When you first get in the chair after rehab there is always a stressful adjustment period. You are trying to figure out all the things you’re “supposed” to be doing – dealing with a massive life-change, deciding who you are going to be now, and figuring out how you are going to live your life. I have recently talked with a friend of mine who is a T-5 Para and he is having a major problem with spasms and is considering a baclofen pump. We would love some information from anyone else having the same issues. Have you used the pump, do you have one? What are the side affects and restrictions?
